Move over, Italian — there’s a new cuisine on the menu. The Marché Pasta station in the student centre’s Marketplace food court has added Japanese-style ramen to its offerings.

“We’re always looking to expand our culinary horizons,” says executive chef Paolo Vasapolli. “Many of our student clients love ramen, and we are happy to introduce this traditional dish to new palates as well.”

The noodle bar will serve three flavours, all with vegetable broth, bean sprouts, julienned carrots, baby bok choy, cilantro, garlic, ginger, green onion, shitake mushrooms, egg, and lime: chicken, spicy Korean beef, or vegetarian tofu. A bowl of each costs just $7.95.
