Seniors’ study groups ready for winter registration

The Uni-Com: Retirement Learning Centre is now accepting registrations for classes in the winter session.

A wide variety of areas of interest are again featured for seniors from the University (Uni) and from the community (Com). Available choices include: Underground Railroad, Poetry for All, Tai Chi, English and Irish Literature, Islamic Art and Culture, A Lover and Two Priests, Visiting Places of Worship, Photography at its Best, First Nations Art, Law and Languages, Human Nature and Identity, and Sartre: Existentialism.

Study groups convene once a week starting Jan. 28 for five or nine week terms. Most classes take place in Alumni Hall’s McPherson Lounge. Other locations include the WFCU Centre, the Islamic Association Mosque, and the Studio, 1770 Wyandotte St W.
