Grants to help students gain experience abroad

Applications are now open for special grants to support students participating in study or work abroad learning opportunities.

The funding will not cover all expenses, but will help to defray costs, explains Judy Bornais, executive director of the Office of Experiential Learning.

Travel grants from the Career Ready Experience Abroad Fund are available to all UWindsor students in good standing completing a study abroad course, co-op, or internship placement between Jan. 1 and Sept. 1, 2019.

Recipients must also share their learning on their return, by writing a brief description of how their experience has been transformative, what they learned and how it relates to their studies.

Applications are due by March 1. Find details on the program website.
