Office looking to give away surplus supplies and equipment

It’s nice to share, and the staff of the International Student Centre wants to be nice.

They are offering up some surplus items removed from storage during their Reading Week clean-up, and will display them during a showcase in the centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 27 and 28.

Among the available items are:

  • file holders in a variety of shapes and sizes;
  • several label makers and a coffee maker;
  • a computer monitor, some mice, and different cords;
  • microphone and camera stands;
  • electric power bars and consumer electronic devices.

“We just want some of this stuff to find new use in new homes,” says director Beth Oakley. “Hopefully, we can keep it from being trashed.”

The showcase will be held in room 205, Laurier Hall.
