A double ice-themed social on Thursday, March 28, will offer students and staff “two fun and relaxing ways to chill,” says Sandra Riccio-Muglia, director of events for the CAW Student Centre.

She has organized two free activities in the Commons area:

Sottozero Windsor will be on hand to scoop up servings of gelato, its authentic Italian-style ice cream. Come discover the taste of Italy while supplies last starting at 11:30 a.m.

A synthetic ice surface will give students a chance to try their hands at curling. The sport involves sliding stones toward a target in a winterized variation of shuffleboard. Two lanes will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
