Event a chance to meet founder of entrepreneurial training charity

The Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) will host a meet-and-greet session with Scott Stirrett, founder of Venture for Canada, on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Venture for Canada is a national charity which develops entrepreneurial leadership skills through training and supporting youth to work at startups and small businesses.

It offers fellowships that help post-secondary students build experience in dynamic entrepreneurial environments and start forging their networks. Applications for 2020 intake opened Monday.

The Oct. 2 meet-and-greet runs 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the second floor of the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre. Admission is free, but registration is encouraged through the EPICentre website.
