Registration now open for LearnIT computer workshops

Registration begins today—Monday, April 22—for LearnIT workshops held during Intersession 2013.

The IT Services program offers a wide variety of free workshops for students, faculty and staff in levels ranging from beginner to advanced in Office Productivity, operating systems, and computer security. All participants will receive a certificate of completion and a handout for the session; lucky winners of raffles in each session will take home a Quick Resource Guide.

Drop-in sessions to provide training in Lotus Notes

How do I create a mail rule to filter specific e-mails? How can I check other people’s availability for meeting invitations? How can I create a calendar overlay for another calendar for which I have access? Is there an easier way to use my e-mail for letters I send all the time?

The LearnIT program in Information Technology Services is offering something new to help users with their Lotus Notes queries. It is inviting users to bring their questions to four drop-in sessions, each one hour long, in the University Computer Centre’s ground floor classroom.
