Music therapy students to relate their placement experiences

Four senior students in the music therapy program will share what they have learned through practicum placements on Thursday, April 4, in a free public presentation.

“Springsong” is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall.

The fourth-year presenters include:

  • pianist Orley Culverhouse, What a Wonderful Girl: Music Therapy with Children on the Autism Spectrum;
  • percussionist Jessica Dickie, Gaining Control Through Musical Expressions;
  • vocalist Ashley Lalonde, Expressing Pain Through Music; and
  • vocalist Shelby Marchand, Feels Like Home: Using music to find safety and security after death.
