New card designs put a golden touch on holiday greetings

The Office of Public Affairs and Communications has added a 50th dimension to its array of holiday cards this year.

In celebration of the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary, festive snow scenes from the University’s own archives are featured on four “retro” style cards available for order. An online form will allow departments to order cards in print, e-card or both formats.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer actual images from our campus’ days of yesteryear that suit the holiday season perfectly,” says Jennifer Ammoscato, senior manager of marketing, publications and web.

Eight seasonal images are also available, along with a choice of eight suggested verses, and the option for clients to supply their own messages. When the form is completed, it submits the order to Ammoscato. Once the client approves the card design, PAC will send it for printing by the University Print Shop (formerly Document Imaging) or provide a jpeg image for the client to use in an e-card.

To ensure completion for delivery before the holiday break, clients must submit requests by December 6.

“We encourage campus departments to order as soon as possible to ensure that we can facilitate their orders in a timely fashion,” says Ammoscato.
