Luncheon to celebrate retirement of Purita Bristow

Colleagues and friends of Purita Bristow are invited to celebrate her retirement after more than 35 years of service to the University of Windsor at a buffet luncheon on Wednesday, January 22.

Bristow began her campus career in 1978 as an input/output clerk in the Computer Centre’s Operations Department concluded it as assistant director, business solution systems in Information Technology Services.

The luncheon event will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall, with lunch served at noon. The cost is $27, which includes a donation towards a gift. To purchase tickets, please contact Eva Bernachi in Information Technology Services by Friday, January 17 at 519-253-3000, ext. 2749.

To accommodate well-wishers who cannot attend the luncheon, an open house, which will take the form of an afternoon tea, will follow from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
