Drop-in event encourages students to share their campus experiences

The inaugural Take Ten event drew students to the seating area at the north end of the CAW Student Centre for a break in the day—and a chance to speak with key administrators from the Office of Student and International Affairs.

“The idea is to provide an informal setting for students to give us an idea of how their UWindsor experience is going,” said Clayton Smith, dean of students.

He spent time speaking one-on-one with students about all aspects of campus life, from the classroom to the cafeteria.

Chemistry major Frank Piazza was happy to stumble on the event, which offered participants hot chocolate, apple cider, and doughnut balls.

“I got to speak with the dean about some of my experiences and plus I got some doughnuts,” he said. “I think they should give away doughnuts every day. It would improve morale greatly!”
