When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I can’t say I remember one job in particular that stuck with me because I was always changing my mind. However, I always wanted to be a person that others looked up to and admired.

What was the last book you read?

“Sing You Home” by Jodi Picoult

What is your favourite Lancer moment?

Winning the 2012/13 national championships. We beat Regina on their home court and the gym was packed! I’m extremely excited for nationals this year, especially since we are hosting.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment is winning provincial and national championships last year with the Lancers while being an Academic All-Canadian.

Who is your hero and why?

My mom and dad are my heroes. They have always pushed me to perform at my best when it came to academics and athletics, especially basketball. They’ve given me so many opportunities so that I could better myself and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!

What does being a Lancer mean to you?

Being a Lancer is part of my identity. I take pride in being a Lancer and in being a part of the women’s basketball program. It means a lot to me because I get to represent the school, the community and my hometown while doing what I love.
