Food Services worker remembered as friend to students

Pamela Tapping, an employee of the University of Windsor for almost 20 years who died May 21, will be missed by her many friends and colleagues on campus, says Dave McEwen, head of Food Services.

“Pam made a lot of friends here, including among the students she loved to serve,” McEwen said. “Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this sad time.”

Tapping started working for the University in 1995, holding positions in Food Services and Facility Services during that time, most recently as a cafeteria helper.

Campus flags will be lowered in her memory on Monday, May 26. Funeral services will be restricted to family only; read the details in her obituary online.
