The UWindsor Welcome Week organizing committee advises that proposals for events during the fall orientation are due by July 2. Meeting the deadline allows the committee to promote opportunities to participating first-year students.

All events must be inclusive and accessible, and must contribute toward at least three of the desired outcomes:

• Orienting students to campus;
• Building a sense of community;
• Fostering school pride, civility and tradition;
• Promoting wellness and inclusiveness;
• Enhancing a sense of fun and excitement; and
• Welcoming returning students.

Interested groups must fill out the event proposal form, which is mandatory for approval to join the week’s schedule. Find the form and more information on the committee’s website.
