A pair of four-goal performances powered the Lancer men’s soccer team to two wins on the weekend. Fifth-year player Chris Lanni, Marco Bernabo, Lyowuna Jumbo and rookie substitute Chris Al-Youssef each scored for Windsor in a 4-1 victory over Western in London on Friday. At home Sunday, Jack Sargent scored twice on free kicks and Michael Pio and John Bahdi added singles as the Lancers notched a 4-0 win over Waterloo. Veteran goaltender Sam Atkin earned the shutout.

The women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Western on Friday and rebounded for a 2-1 win Sunday over the Warriors on Alumni Field. Becca Feurth and Jaclyn Faraci accounted for Windsor’s goals. Both Windsor soccer teams now sport 4-3-0 records in league play.
