Those unfamiliar with the technology of the Blockchain digital ledger will have a chance to get up to speed at a free workshop Thursday, March 2, hosted by the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre).

Entitled “What Exactly is the Blockchain?” the session will look to the future of financial transactions, covering:

• the use of Blockchain in different industries;
• the legality of Blockchain;
• banking and Blockchain;
• local startups and how they are using Blockchain.
