Program to highlight dangers of problem gambling

The Responsible Gambling Council is bringing its interactive program promoting awareness of problem gambling, Know the Score 2, to the University of Windsor.

Know the Score 2 was created specifically for college and university students in response to studies indicating that young adults are at a higher risk of developing a gambling problem.

Know the Score:

  • dispels myths about gambling;
  • highlights signs of problem gambling;
  • shares problem gambling services; and
  • suggests ways to keep gambling safer.

Come by the display in the CAW Student Centre Commons from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26, to learn something new, ask questions from the friendly student staff, and test your knowledge with a quick five-question quiz.

Students who answer the quiz correctly will be automatically entered into a draw for a $1,500 scholarship and become eligible for a free pair of Beats by Dre wireless studio headphones. To stay on top of all other opportunities, like the program Facebook page and follow its Twitter feed.
