choirMore than 100 voices will rise in song Sunday during a concert collaboration between the School of Creative Arts and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.

Concert to feature UWindsor students, alumni, and faculty

Alumni, students, and faculty of the UWindsor music program are among the featured soloists scheduled to perform with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra this weekend.

The concert is set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Capitol Theatre and promises a program of works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Verdi.

Performers include:

  • retired voice instructor, Steven Henrikson, a bass-baritone;
  • alumni Alde Calongcagong on piano, sopranos Samantha Borgal and Amelia Daigle, mezzo-soprano Erin Armstrong Dickau, tenor Colin James, baritone Adam Iannetta, and the 50-voice Alumni Choir directed by professor emeritus Richard Householder;
  • current students Matthew Lepain on trumpet and baritone David Katich-McNamara, and the members of the UWindsor Chamber Choir and University Singers directed by Bruce Kotowich.
