UWindsor staff, faculty, students, and alumni are invited to pick up litter in neighbourhoods surrounding main campus Monday, Sept. 9.

Hosted by the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance as a part of the UWinProud spirit campaign, #OurCommunity Clean-Up Day will begin at 3 p.m. in the David A. Wilson Commons and conclude with an after-event at 5 p.m.

Participants should bring comfortable clothing, shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats and will receive gloves, trash bags, and a UWin Proud T-Shirt.

The student society boasting the largest turn-out will receive a $750 prize, with a second-place award of $250.
