Organic electronics is generating interest not only in the science community but in the business world as well. Its current market of about one billion dollars is expected to grow to $45 billion by 2016.

In a free presentation entitled “Organic Electronics: From Serendipitous Discovery to Market,” Holger Eichhorn will provide some of the facts behind the buzz.

CUPE 1393 collective agreement ratified

A Collective Agreement has been successfully ratified by CUPE Local 1393, representing 260 technical, professional and skilled trades workers at the University of Windsor.

CUPE 1393 members accepted the agreement in a vote on October 1, and the University’s Board of Governors also successfully ratified the agreement during a special meeting on October 5.

UWindsor President Alan Wildeman expressed his appreciation for the successful completion of bargaining.
