2015 Lancer Football Season Tickets on Sale

Season tickets for the 2015 OUA Lancer Football season go on sale today, Friday May 1.

The Lancers will host four regular season home games, which includes visits from Western, Carleton, McMaster and Waterloo.

The highly anticipated campaign begins in late August with the Blue & Gold opening the season against their rivals, the Western Mustangs, on Sunday August 30 at 1 p.m. at Alumni Field. 

After facing the Toronto Varsity Blues on Labour Day in Toronto, the Lancers are back at home on September 12 to face the Carleton Ravens at 1 p.m.   

The Blue & Gold will then be away from home for two weeks before they return home when they host the McMaster Marauders on Alumni Weekend on October 3rd at 1 p.m. Windsor closes out the regular season on Saturday October 24 when the Waterloo Warriors come to town. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. 

Season ticket prices will once again remain the same as last year. Fans can get their four game ticket package for $50/seat. 

The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that an early bird ticket special is available. Fans purchasing season tickets in the month of May, will receive the early bird package of $40/seat.

Last call to register for Campus Technology Day 2015

Time is running out to register for Campus Technology Day 2015. With the theme, Empowering U, the day will include interactive presentations discussing the impact of technology in enhancing learning, teaching, research, and building community and will take place May 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the CAW Student Centre.

In addition to a keynote address on cloud computing by Nancy Walton, Director of E- learning at Ryerson University, the conference will feature sessions on collaboration tools in Microsoft 365, using FluidSurveys for administrative purposes, and the virtual classroom available through Blackboard.

Limited spots are available and registration is free, including a complimentary wine & cheese reception.

Science enthusiasts offered a taste of coming science carnival

Hands-on science demonstrations, glow in the dark art and chromatography flowers are on offer on Saturday, May 2, Devonshire Mall, as a preview for the coming science carnival, Science Rendezvous 2015 Science Festival, UWindsor, May 9. 

All science enthusiasts of all ages are welcome. Activities will run 12 – 4 p.m. in Chapters inside the mall.
