Professor to preside over Polish-Canadian Business Dinner

UWindsor geology professor Frank Simpson will act as master of ceremonies for the 21st Annual Polish-Canadian Business Dinner on Friday, November 4, at the Dom Polski Hall.

In addition to a keynote address by Richard Walawender, co-founder of the Polish offices of the law firm Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, the evening will feature guest speakers from the Canadian-Polish Congress, performances by the Tatry song and dance ensemble, and an exhibition on Alexandre-Edouard Kierzkowski, Canada’s first MP of Polish heritage.

Dinner to celebrate 20th anniversary of local Polish business and professional association

A UWindsor professor will act as master of ceremonies when the Polish-Canadian Business and Professional Association of Windsor holds its 20th annual dinner in the Dom Polski Hall on Friday, November 6.

In addition to its anniversary, the association will celebrate 15 years of the twinning agreement between Windsor and the city of Lublin, Poland. Two guests will represent Lublin: Jarosław Pakuła, vice-chair of its city council, and Michał Grabowiecki, a project manager in its Department of Strategy and Investor Assistance.

UWindsor professor to serve as master of ceremonies at Polish dinner

Earth Sciences professor Frank Simpson will act as master of ceremonies for the annual dinner of the Polish-Canadian Business and Professional Association of Windsor on Friday, November 23, at the Caboto Club. The event promises guests an informative and entertaining mixture of wisdom from years of experience in politics and youthful enthusiasm with distinctive, Polish flair.

A VIP reception will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Room and the dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Polish food will be provided by the Crossroads Café, and wines by the Aleksander Estate Winery.
