Writing tests/exams with Student Disability Services

Students:

    • If you are eligible to receive exam accommodations from SDS it is your responsibility to submit your exam schedule online using the SNAP Exam Scheduling System
    • The use of assistive technology/software as an approved exam accommodation can only be authorized after students have demonstrated proficiency in its use
    • You must schedule any test/midterm with SDS FIVE (5) DAYS PRIOR to the scheduled test/midterm. 
    • You must schedule all final exams with SDS before the final exam deadline date for the semester 
    • You must inform SDS of any changes in scheduling related to tests, midterms or final exams within the specified time period.  This can be done online using SNAP
    • Students who are late for exams or do not show for an exam will be subject to a $50.00 Proctor Service Fee. 
    • Exams scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the SIS will begin at 6:00 if they are to be written in SDS. 
    • Student Disability Services is NOT responsible for any missed communication between students and our office, nor for any student errors in the scheduling process
