In this combined Honours Degree Program, students have to meet entry requirements for both areas of study.
Years 1 & 2
Pre-Social Work and Disability Studies (also known as the Pre-Professional Years). The minimum admission requirement is governed by the general requirements of the University.

Years 3 & 4
Professional Years. Applicants must have completed (or be in the process of completing) all Pre-Social Work and Disability Studies course requirements and have a minimum average of 8.0 in both Social Work and Disability Studies courses. An 8.0 cumulative average is also highly recommended.

In this combined Honours Degree Program students will complete a total of 40 courses. Admission to this program is governed by the general requirements of the University.

Students who graduated with a Child and Youth Worker Diploma at St. Clair College in 1996 or later with a minimum B (3.0) average, may apply to the BA Honours in Disability Studies for St. Clair College Child and Youth Worker Program Graduates through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre.
Students who graduated from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology with a diploma in a two-year or three-year health, human service, or social service program (e.g., Child and Youth Worker (except St. Clair College), Developmental Services Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Services Worker) with a minimum B (3.0) average may apply for the BA Honours Disability Studies for College Graduates through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre.
Students can complete a minor in Disability Studies which consists of six courses. No application is required to complete a minor.
