Flutist, Jonathan Bayley

Flutist and music educator, Jonathan Bayley enjoys musical collaborations

What’s your passion? Well, for Jonathan Bayley it is playing flute and performing with colleagues around the country.  Every couple of months, even with his busy teaching and administrative schedule, he performs chamber music concerts.

Most recently, it was a chamber music concert at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Ottawa, on Sunday May, 15, 2011 (photos).  The concert featured:

Flutists Thomas Brawn and Jonathan Bayley and organist Robert Jones in concertThomas Brawn, flute
Jonathan Bayley, flute
Robert Jones, organ

Robert “Bob” Jones, BMus ’80, has been organist and choir director at St. Luke's Anglican Church in Ottawa (www.stlukesottawa.ca) for the past 10 years. He also plays for the Saturday mass at St. Basil's R C Church, and conducts two community choirs (the Bytown Voices in Ottawa, and the Seaway Valley Singers south of Ottawa).

If you are in London, Ontario on July 29, 2011, come out to Aeolian Hall for a chamber concert with:

flutist Jonathan BayleyTerry Sefton, cello
Jonathan Bayley, flute
Marion Miller, piano

Both Dr. Sefton and Dr. Bayley teach in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor.
