Childcan Volunteer Tutoring Program Seeks Tutors for Gr. 1- 9 School Age Cancer Survivors

Looking for a great volunteer and job-related experience?  The Childcan Volunteer Tutoring Program is looking for you to help tutor gr. 1- 9 school age cancer survivors.  These children often have learning gaps due to extended absences and/or treatment-related issues.  The tutoring program is offered at no cost to parents, who have typically undergone financial challenges during their child's treatment.

We are looking for tutors from the Faculty of Education to help.  Right now we need a tutor for a grade 2 student and a grade 3 student in Windsor.. (Extra help could be given on weekends.)  Also, we could receive more referrals for students in Windsor and surrounding area at any time.

Childcan can cover additional expenses for extra support materials or mileage costs.  The volunteer tutor needs to complete a Childcan volunteer application form and become a Childcan volunteer.
