As of January 2011, Senate has approved the replacement courses for 42-200 (shown below) as courses that can be automatically counted towards your Electrical Engineering course requirements.
However, if you have took one of the replacement courses prior to January 2011, and that course still shows on your degree audit as "not needed to satisfy program requirements", please follow the steps outlined below to have the course counted on your degree audit:
1. Once you have completed the course, send an email to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ece@uwindsor.ca) requesting your degree audit be changed to have that course replace 02-42-200 on your degree audit.
2. Once Dr. Sid-Ahmed recommends approval for your degree audit change, the ECE Department will make a request to the Associate Dean's Office who will in turn request the change from the Registrar's Office.
3. This process is not automatic and the time it can take to make these changes varies depending on the time of year you make this request.
Please note: Some of the courses below are also approved non-technical electives. It is your responsibility to review your degree audit to ensure proper course placement. Also, you should be aware that not all the courses listed below are offered in every semester.
