2011 High School Design Competition

On Thursday March 3rd 2011 the University of Windsor's Engineering Student Society along with the Faculty of Engineering will be hosting the annual High School Design Competition.  The competition will take place on the University's campus in Winclare A, Vanier Hall.  The competition will run from 8:30 am until approximately 3:30 pm. Lunch will be provided to all participants.  Teams of high school students from across Essex County will converge on Vanier Hall with engineering on their minds. 

First place winners from Riverside Secondary School

Last year in first place came Riverside Secondary School with a whopping 1.44 V produced, followed by Sandwich Secondary School Team B (for the Best) and General Amherst High School Team B. This years event will be spearheaded by EngSoc’s own Wojtek Maroszek with the support of the YSTOP and WINONE offices and faculty and staff judges: Dr. Johrendt, Dr. Carriveau and Don Tersigni.
