Engineers are responsible for innovation and change in today’s world. Engineers use the latest technologies and research to design new products and systems that impact the world around them in a positive way.
UWindsor Engineering invites children ages 8 to 12 to take part in hands-on engineering activities at the university's engineering summer camp. Upon arrival, campers will be divided by age: 8–9 and 10–12. Participants will be introduced to a variety of engineering related concepts, including aerodynamics, forces and motion, fluid dynamics, material strength, and the design process. This full-day starts with an educational half-day session in our-state-of-the art engineering building on campus, the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI). The afternoon will include outdoor activities and swimming at the St. Denis Centre.
