2011-2012 Ontario Power Generation Award Program
 

Award Criteria:

• One annual award per Ontario University to be granted to a member of employment equity target group (women, aborginal, disabled, visible minority);
• $2,400 per award;
• Given to a student who have completed one year and is currently in the second year of the Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Chemical or Enviromental Engineering Program;
• Requires strong oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated leadership skills;
• Is of good academic standing (minimum B average);
• Involved in extra-curricular activities;
• Will not be receiving more than one other award of equal or greater value in his/her second year;
• Is legally eligible to work in Canada upon graduation.
