OCEPP 2012 Student Essay Competition

Students can write their way to a $500 award

Ontario engineering students who are passionate about public policy are encouraged to enter the Ontario Centre for Engineering and Public Policy’s (OCEPP) 2012 Student Essay Competition.

The competition is open to all Ontario undergraduate and graduate engineering students who are Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) student members or part of PEO's Engineering Internship Training (EIT) program. Canadian undergraduate engineering students can register as PEO student members quickly and without cost. Details on EIT program membership are available on the PEO website.

This year, there are separate categories for undergraduate and graduate students. The winner in each category will receive a $500 award and registration to the centre's 2012 Public Policy Conference.

Competition rules and winning papers from past three competitions can be viewed from the For Students page of the OCEPP website.
