  • Mon, 03/12/2012 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The English Undergraduate Students' Association presents a public reading from Irving Layton's poetry as part of nationwide celebrations (coordinated by one of the poet's sons, Max Layton) in honour of his birth one hundred years ago to this day.

Invitation from EUSA

Come join us in celebrating one of the country's great modern poets; the event will be one of many in Canada. Speakers will include Dr. Karl Jirgens and Dr. Katherine Quinsey. We will be reading Irving Layton's work, learning about Canada's modern era of literature, and celebrating his achievements. Everyone is welcome, and will have the opportunity to read some of his poetry or your own that relates to him!

Coffee, tea, and dessert will be provided.
