English, Science and Engineering Program
Come experience the best of Canadian culture during a 14-day English, science and engineering program. A balance of classroom learning and social excursions will immerse students in a truly meaningful Canadian experience.
First session runs July 22 to August 4, 2019.
Second session runs August 12 to 25, 2019.
The program fee is CA$3500, including a CA$100 deposit due at registration.
- 14 nights single occupancy accommodation.
- A complete schedule of learning and fun.
- Approximately 48 hours combined instruction in English, science and engineering programs.
- Breakfast provided daily; lunch provided on weekdays.
- Transportation to and from Windsor, Ontario Airport.
- Health insurance.
- Certificate of completion from the University of Windsor Continuing Education.
- No registration fee of CA$150 for continued English language training in the University of Windsor English Language Improvement Program.
*WECDSB participant enrolment is CA$2600, including a $100 deposit due at registration and does not include accommodation, meals or transportation to/from Windsor International Airport YQG.
English program - Improve your English language skills with 24 hours of instructed learning. Develop reading and listening comprehension, as well as oral and written skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary education. Learning outcomes include:

Science program - Receive 12 hours of instructed learning from our Faculty of Science. Enjoy small group sizes and hands on experiences that will help you build essential skills such as critical thinking, communication and leadership.
Engineering program - Receive 12 hours of instructed learning at the University of Windsor Faculty of Engineering. Windsor's unique climate of co-operation between academic, business and industry sectors gives you access to state-of-the-art engineering facilities.
The best kind of learning takes place outside the classroom, so we are putting together a variety of trips and excursions to add to your Canadian experience. For example, some of the past activities included:
A tour at the Honda of Canada plant, outings to local shops, art galleries, symphony performances, theater and cinema, nature centres and much more.

Canterbury College offers clean, bright and comfortable rooms for your stay. Located on the University’s campus, with safe and easy access to downtown on the main bus route, just steps from your door. Each room is a private single unit with a twin bed, desk, dresser and closet. Bed linens are provided, and laundry is available. Washroom facilities are shared. Common living area includes a kitchenette and outdoor patio space with a BBQ to make the most of the warm summer weather. Registration Deadline: May 1, 2019. A non-refundable fee of CA $100 is due at the time of registration.
Payment Deadline: May 27, 2019.
Full payment of the Canadian Summer Experience – English, Science & Engineering Program Fee is due eight weeks before the program start date.
Cancellation of Canadian Summer Experience Programs bookings
A full refund will be issued for a cancellation made more than 8 weeks before the beginning of the program. Registrants are not eligible for a refund past the payment deadline.
Cancellations due to unsuccessful visa application are not eligible for a refund. The program fee is non-transferable to another year or another student.
