About the Show

Eye on Campus is a TV show recorded at the University of Windsor. Produced by students in the Department of Communication, Media, and Film (CMF), it covers news and topics of direct interest to UWindsor students and faculty.

Back in the analog days of media production, the University hosted a similar TV show called “401 Sunset.” This project was slated for revival by CMF professor, Dr. Richard Lewis, and Professor Heather Hartley later took up the reigns with the cooperation of the Center for Teaching and Learning to bring the newly-dubbed Eye on Campus to air.

As a high-level practicum course for the students, the course is meant to simulate the fast-paced production environment of television news journalism.
