Grounds - Environmental Services

The Grounds Department may be reached at either extension 3297, 2165 or 2850.

The Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining the University grounds at a level which promotes the image of the University.

The department is specifically responsible for:

  • Landscape maintenance
  • Snow removal and salting
  • Garbage removal
  • Maintaining grass areas
  • Promoting a welcome environment for the community and visitors to campus.
  • Providing a clean work environment for students, faculty and staff.

Grounds Department services are provided without charge to Academic and Administrative Departments.  All ancillary costs are recovered.

A request for Memorial Planting should be directed to the Grounds Supervisor at extension 3297 and/or the Manager of Environmental Services at extension 2165.
