Robert Nelson, Award-Winning Historian & Foodie-in-Residence
Dr. Robert Nelson’s work has landed him a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers that allowed him to review federal archives in Koblenz and Berlin Germany regarding German Colonization. This does not overshadow his fame as foodie-in-residence, and was named an ideal reader by Saveur, a renowned magazine of gourmet world food and travel. His photo and article on Indonesian satays was published in the 20th anniversary special issue alongside work by celebrity chefs such as Mario Batali and Thomas Keller.
