Symposium Schedule

The Propeller research group at the University of Windsor invites proposals for participation in a symposium to be held in the Multimedia Studio at the new Alan Wildeman Centre for Creative Arts on April 11, 2019.

Proposals may take the form of academic papers or panels relating to some aspect of research-creation: inquiry-driven projects that contribute to knowledge through both creative and research methods and/or outputs). Topics may include but are not limited to:

• practice as research

• models for collaboration

• research-creation methodologies

• specific research-creation projects and findings

• strategies for knowledge dissemination

• pedagogical practices the combine research and creative work

Individual presentations should last 20 minutes; panel discussions with three or more participants should last 45 minutes. Proposals should be 250 words in length and sent to Prof. Kim Nelson (kimnel@uwindsor.ca) by March 15, 2019.
