The Gateway Program aims to attract high school graduates identified as being able to succeed at university, yet who have been disappointed by final high school results.
Students seeking Gateway admission for Fall 2013 will have applied to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre. Once final high school results are available, the University of Windsor will contact students who are eligible. They will be invited to consider the Gateway Program and visit the campus to write two essays.
Students who are admitted through the Gateway Program receive additional support through advising, academic skills development and campus resource utilization.
"Being in the Gateway Program means you have a whole team of people working for you to help you succeed. Due to being in Gateway, I am a much better student." Kayla Schurman, Drama in Education and Community
