What do I need to do if I lost my Meal Plan Card?

*Each student is responsible for any debt arising from the use of his/her card. Your UwinCARD should be kept on your person in a safe location.

What do I need to do if I lost my Meal Plan Card?

You will need to do ONE of the following:

1. You can freeze your account immediately by using  myUwindsor
Student Portal Link at  PUT MY CARD ON HOLD
 
To find out how to obtain a lost card voucher (which you will be able to use as your meal card for 3 business days) please go to #2 of this list. Students are allowed to get one lost card voucher per one student card.

2. Report a lost meal card immediately to the Meal Plan Office, Room J01 in Vanier Hall (during business hours only). Your account number will be deactivated and you will be issued a temporary lost card voucher, if you will bring your picture ID with you (students are allowed to get one lost card voucher per one student card). The lost card voucher will then serve as a meal card for 3 business days. After 3 business days it will expire and you will need to get a new card. Replacement cards are issued in UwinCARD Office located in the basement of the CAW Student Centre, Room B104 and they cost $20. *Please note that if you lost a card and you replaced it with a new card, the card that was replaced will never work again.

3. Report a lost meal card immediately to the UwinCARD Office, Room B104 in the CAW Student Centre (during business hours only).
*Please note that Lost Meal Card Vouchers are not available at this location.

What do I need to do if I find a Meal Plan Card?

If you found a student card please bring it to one of the following locations during their business hours:

  • UwinCARD Office located in the CAW Student Ctr in Room B104 at ext. 8946
  • Meal Plan Office located in Room J01 of Vanier Hall at ext. 3291
  • Campus Police located at 320 Sunset at ext. 1234
