Nursing is an undergraduate program that trains students to become nurses. The University of Windsor offers a Four-Year Bachelor of Science Collaborative Nursing (BSCN) degree. What does collaborative mean? This means we offer the same BSCN degree at 4 different places (University of Windsor, St. Clair College in Windsor, St. Clair College in Chatham, and Lambton College). If you want to be a nurse, here is a list of the Grade 12 University or mixed level classes you will need to take in high school: ENG4U - English SBI4U - Biology SCH4U - Chemistry One Grade 12 math is recommended

There are two Optometry schools in Canada. The University of Waterloo offers an Optometry program in English and the Universite de Montreal offers an Optometry program in French. Last year, 18 University of Windsor students were accepted to Ontario Medical Schools. This was above the provincial average for all Ontario Universities. There are 6 medical schools in Ontario. Medical school is a program you apply to after you have an undergraduate degree. In the 21st century, the social work profession is projected to be one of the growth areas in terms of occupational opportunities in both Canada and the United States. More than 90 percent of our graduates find employment within six months of graduation. Social Workers work directly with those who are disadvantaged and troubled, including persons who are homeless, unemployed, have physical or mental disabilities, street youth, splintered families, victims of violence or offenders. In addition, social workers may work with groups of individuals, families, social planning bodies and advocacy associations.
