Biology and Biotechnology
- The investigation of biological systems at the cellular, organism, and/or population levels
- Use living cells and materials produced by cells to create products for pharmaceutical, diagnostic, agricultural, and environmental applications
- Includes hands-on learning of sophisticated laboratory techniques and addresses ecological, medical, and ethical aspects of this field
