Spring Open House



Concurrent French Studies and Education (5 years)

  • Offered jointly over five years by French Studies and the Faculty of Education. Prepares students to teach at the junior and intermediate levels (Grades 4 to 10), with a particular emphasis on teaching French as a second language
  • Graduates will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for teaching French as a Second Language in the English language school system (Public or Separate) at the junior-intermediate level and fulfill the requirements for certification by the Ontario College of Teachers
  • This combined program offers students the opportunity to begin practice teaching and working towards teaching

Mean Admission Average: 85%
Requirements:
  • Combined B.A.(French)/B.Ed: ENG4U and any Grade 12 U French required. Individual grades in Grade 12 U and Grade 11 French are also used for admission.
