Drama in Education and Community

  • Unique program that prepares students for careers across the life span in community, institutional, and educational settings
  • Training in creative play, storytelling, lesson planning, theatre for young audiences, theatre for social action, and developmental psychology
  • Learn to apply drama and theatre as it relates to the elementary/secondary curriculum
  • Teaching placements in both elementary and secondary schools
  • Social-issue-driven, community based projects
  • First-year courses include creative drama, nature of theatre, English literature, and psychology

  • ENG4U required.
