Ask Katia

Growing up in Kitchener-Waterloo, I had a lot of options as to what schools I could go to. When I was trying to decide what university to attend, there were three main factors that were important to me: (1) Diversity of the campus and the city, (2) a friendly campus that wasn't too big, but not too small either, (3) I knew that I wanted to experience living away from home - so a school that wasn't too far so I could visit often, but not too close to home that my mom could "pop-in" for surprise visits! LOL. The University of Windsor was the answer for me.

Although I may look like I'm 15 years old...I graduated with my BSc in Biology and Psychology (00), and recently completed my MEd in Educational Administration (08). As a student, I was involved in many clubs and societies, definitely lived in residence my first year (loved it), and was a part of the work study program. Through work study, I worked in a variety of offices on campus, namely the Dean's office for the Faculty of Science. Through that experience, I learned about becoming a Liaison Officer....and here I am working for the university.

My personal interests are sports, music, and photography. I am very approachable, and love helping students and parents get the answers to their questions. If you have questions, feel free to email or call me!
