I obtained my Honours B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor. I have always enjoyed working with students of all ages. As a University of Windsor undergraduate student, I became involved with many volunteer activities. This includes working as a counsellor for the Summer Discovery Program; volunteering in various capacities within the Students Orientating Students program through the Educational Development Centre; volunteering with the Centre for Career Education; also, participating in the Volunteer Internship Program during its inaugural year. I was hired as the Co-ordinator of the Volunteer Internship Program- the same program I volunteered for a year earlier as a student. See, volunteering pays off!!
In 2003, I obtained my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Windsor and completed my Master of Education degree in 2008. I am passionate about being involved in the community and continue to be involved with numerous community organizations dealing with youth, and the promotion of higher education. Helping students make informed choices about the post-secondary institution they choose to attend is very satisfying. I feel like I play a large role at this major point in their lives.
