Social Work

  • Aims to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities in an increasingly complex society
  • Prepares students for professional registration in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and elsewhere
  • Combines social work courses with courses in disability studies,
    psychology, sociology, women’s studies and other disciplines
  • ncludes professional concentration in Years 3 and 4, providing
  • extensive field education in more than 50 social agencies in Windsor and Essex County
  • Also available as a two-year (20-course) degree completion program to applicants who have graduated from a general BA in a social science discipline or from the St. Clair College Child and Youth Worker Diploma program
