Visual Arts

  • Offers the developing artist excellent working space, an invaluable foundation of skills, a supportive faculty and an opportunity to explore, share and realize individual creativity and expression
  • Provides a strong foundation in studio practices and art history
    combined with exhibition opportunities and exposure to the
    cultural institutions of Windsor and Detroit
  • Includes courses in drawing, painting, print media, photography,
    sculpture, bio art and integrated media (digital imaging, sound
    and video)
  • Includes individual studio space during Year 4

Degree Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts (General - 3 years) or (Honours - 4 year) or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts
Minimum Admission Average: 70%
Mean Admission Average: 80%
Requirements:
  • ENG4U required
  • Student may choose to double major in any BA Honours program.
  • A portfolio is not required for admission to our B.F.A. Visual Arts program. However, admission to Year 2 is based on successful evaluation.
