Approval Timeline for New Program Proposals

All new degree programs must go through a series of internal and external review and approval processes before the new program can be implemented and marketed to potential students. The time for obtaining approval for a new program can vary depending on various factors - below are three sample new program approval timelines for initial proposals submitted in January, May, and September. Note that these are 'ideal' timelines assuming prompt completion of each step, timely approval at council meetings, etc. so any delays will affect the final submission.
