Mechanical, Materials, and Automotive Engineering Scholarships

Benito P. and Teofila S. Calayag Award

For M.A.Sc or Ph.D. students registered in the Mechanical Engineering graduate program. If no suitable candidate in Mechanical Engineering, the award may be given to a student from another Engineering graduate program. Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident with an average of at least 77%, and show financial need. Recipients must have received their degree from a recognized Canadian high school and their undergraduate degree from a Canadian university. Preference is given to a student of Filipino descent (at least one parent born in the Philippines).
Value: $2,500.

MEDA Limited Mel Lawn Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to a full-time student in any graduate program in Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering on the basis of academic merit (minimum cumulative average of 75%).  Preference will be given to students having a record of community service in the past two years.
Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, and show financial need.
Value:  $2,000
