Electrical Engineering Scholarships

Frederick Atkins Graduate Awards

Two annual awards given to graduate students in a program in Electrical Engineering on the basis of excellent performance in research and coursework. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
Value: $2,000. 

F. Wayne and Purita C. Bristow Award

For M.A.Sc or Ph.D. students registered in the Electrical Engineering graduate program. If no suitable candidate in Electrical Engineering, the award may be given to a student from another Engineering graduate program. Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident with an average of at least 77%, and show financial need. Recipients must have received their education from a recognized Canadian high school and their undergraduate degree from a Canadian university. Preference is given to a student of Canadian descent (at least one parent born in Canada).
Value: $2,500.

Dr. Ibrahim Erfani Graduate Scholarship in Engineering

One scholarship awarded annually to a full-time female graduate student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This award Is Intended to recognize a female student with a strong track record of academic excellence. Student's determination, perseverance and commitment to the advancement of their engineering education is also a consideration.  Applicants must have an average of at least 80%.
